Ian Lewis

 Ian Lewis is currently living and working in Seattle, Washington.  Ian's formal and informal training with Dan Daily, Lino Tagliapietra, Therman Statom, Peter Novotny, and Richard Marquis have had a lasting influence on his artistic esthetic.   Ian has been a part time designer at the Glass Eye Studio for three years, a glassblower for for artist Dale Chihuly and Ian spends most of his time with his wife designing and manufacturing affordable glass vases and lights.   
 Ian's mastery of many techniques and forms led to teaching at the prestigious Tokyo Glass Art Institute, in Kawasaki, Japan. Where he was a Senei for 15 months. Ian also co-founded the Cambridge Glass School. in Cambridge, Ma
